Why I Created ForeverLasting
When my father passed away from cancer in 2007, I was in my early twenties. Over time, the pain softened — but so did the memories. The sound of his voice, the way he laughed, the little things he used to say — they began to fade. Years later, after becoming a parent myself, it hit me: I wanted my daughter to always feel my presence, no matter what. To know my voice cheering her on when she graduated, to hear me sing “happy birthday” each year, even to listen to a wedding speech I’d never get the chance to give in person. That longing is what built ForeverLasting. It’s not just a website — it’s a promise that the people we love will never have to lose the parts of us that matter most.
